I must admit I have been not online (on any of my blogs lately). I have just been living the vida loca. (oh and working too..lol). I forgot to mention I went to this awesome Puerto Rican Day festival about two weeks ago near my hometown.
Okay, what is so unusual about that? Well with a 92% white community having anything diverse is pretty cool. I was only going to stay for about an hour and before you know it I am there from 10am until 4pm. There was just so much fun and the food and music were just to die for.
Here are some shots I took. Okay, not professional but what do you expect with a 8 year old camera.
I didn't take the one of Tony Vega though. He was the headliner performer from Puerto Rico.
Couple dancing Salsa and having a ball
Everyone dancing and having fun
This was the line for the food-Yummy!
Their were so many souvenirs and booths
This was me eating "bacalito" and and "empananda"
Tony Vega- He was the headliner for the event
